New UTAU voices!

Gosh, I almost forgot about this place. Did I seriously just say 'gosh'? Something must be wrong with me. Anyways, I have one officially announced and two secret voicebanks to release.

MM03: Miki Mabushi
Now, the collection is complete.
Birthday: April 24
Age: 8
Release song: Miki Miki Romantic Night (song by Samfree | youtube | mp3)
Voicebank download (romaji only)

MM01.2 Mikoe Mabushi JP_delicate
Because her lullaby was meant for a soft, sweet voice. This is a soft, sad voice.
Emotion pack download
Demo (sayonara "tomodachi ni wa naritakunai no" originally by Goto Maki)
I made an entire voicebank just to make her sing Soundless Voice. I'm so weird. But my UST wasn't finished. So you'll have to wait until it's done.

And third, this is not mine, so I won't release the voicebank download.
Kitsune Chi -lonely append-
This is the same sort of thing as Mikoe's JP_delicate. Except Chi's samples sound like the ones they had for Len's soft append. Before it was canceled. Which was very sad. *sniff*
I re-used my Soundless Voice UST for this. But she can sing the guy version. Mikoe's voice was too coarse at such a low pitch.

Mikoe-chan!

Mikoe's birthday was on the 14th, and I completely missed it (I wouldn't have, but I haven't had a computer since September).

But I'm back on track! So here I present her birthday present:
A complete Act 2 bank.

Rather than having one enormous .zip file, I decided to have several different voicebanks for different things. However, they are not 'appends' in the sense that the add-ons make her more realistic. I call them 'emotion packs'. If none of them fit the mood of a song, use her JP_basic.

Here are her voicebanks so far:

JP_basic (basic Japanese CV bank)
JP_high (high-pitched Japanese CV bank)
JP_low (low-pitched Japanese CV bank)
JP_lullaby (soft, sweet CV bank)
JP_strong (harsh, firm CV bank)
JP_active (light, happy CV bank)
JP_delicate (broken, sad CV bank)

They can all be downloaded here

These voicebanks need to be updated. A lot. Any volunteers? Anyone? All I hear is an echo...

If you use her, let me know!

English UTAUs? *gasp*

Yes, this is my THIRD try at making Mikoe sing in English. Except this time it will actually sound like Mikoe. I'm still working out the details, but when I finish it will be an easily usable bilingual bank. Like, the triphone smoothing buttons in the upper right corner will take away the hours of work you would need to use, for instance, Neko Kanochi. (Her English is harder to use than Teto's... -shot-)

I don't have a preview yet, since I'm still working on the list. But if you want to help, tell me any unusual consonant blends you can think of!

Oh, and my experimental multilingual UTAU, Shuon Rani, is going to sound a lot more like me. All her voicebanks are somewhat triphone-based. When I'm finished, she will have Japanese and Arabic triphones (with plans to expand the Arabic to Hindi/Urdu), and an English bank consisting of a bunch of wave files that are each one word. Her current demo is about two (off-key) lines from Laura Shigihara's 'Call me Home' which I hope to have her cover when I finish her voicebank. Her English will be incomplete for a long time because I mostly have to make sounds as I need them. But I try to add extras with each one (so if I need her to say 'heat' I'll record 'hear' and 'meet').

Rani means 'my song' in Hebrew or Arabic or something like that, and 'shuuon' means 'graceful sound', shortened to 'Shuon' for aesthetic purposes. (much as Mabushii is shortened to Mabushi)

Please leave a comment if you want to see this finished! I really need the encouragement! Every little bit counts!

Miko's ACT2 preview release!

This is more of a sampler to get you excited.

The Act2 for all my UTAUloids sounds NOTHING like their Act1. Miko is no exception.

And there is a lot more coming... are you prepared?

This is just his Japanese CV bank (complete this time), romaji with hiragana oto.ini. All frq files included.

n2 = m
n3 = ng
wo = o (light 'w' sound)
wo2 = wo (heavy 'w' sound)

What else will be included with the final release?
- Pitches (high/low)
- English voicebank
- Emotion packs (also known as 'append' voices):
-Lullaby (comparable to 'sweet' append)
-Vivid (comparable to 'light' append)
-Shout (comparable to 'solid' append)
- Official artwork
- Sample song

Well, Miko's official birthday is July 8th, so I figured I should make him sound a little manlier? :F (it failed).
Well, he's 14 now! Enjoy!

Oh, and let me know if you make him sing anything!

OMG, I almost forgot to post this!

Well, it's 10:30 here on the east coast, so it isn't tomorrow yet! I'm not too late! ^__^

Hi everyone!

Wow. I can't believe I put this off so long. Okay, so here is the website for Mikoe, Miko, and Miki Mabushi, as well as all other UTAUloids and UTAU-related productions by Yoru Hikari (That's me!).

I think I'll start by releasing some voicebanks. Most of these are incomplete because I made mistakes with the oto.ini that I don't have time to go back and fix.

Voicebank (beta) downloads
MM01 - Mikoe Mabushi
Act 1
Japanese: MM01 JP act1
Please note, the version with all the oto.ini and frq files is ready, but I can't upload it yet, so be patient.
English: MM01 EN act1
The English was pretty much just a beta run to see if my system of English worked, and her Act2 will be a significant improvement. This does not have complete oto.ini files, and probably never will unless someone feels like it.

MM02 - Miko Mabushi (a guy. Gosh, I KNOW Miko's a girls' name)
Act 1
Hiragana filenames with romaji oto.ini. Not EVERY sound is there, just 99% of the ones you're ever going to need.

Thank you if you use their voices! Please let me know if you do!
